Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Triam Accounting, operated by Triam Innovations Private Limited. They are a contract — by creating an account or paying a subscription you accept them.

01Who these terms are with

Triam Accounting (the Service) is operated by Triam Innovations Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (RoC-Bangalore, CIN U62011KA2025PTC207667). “We”, “us” and “Triam” mean that company. “You” means the business that holds the account, and anyone you permit to use it.

The Service is provided for business use only. By accepting these terms you confirm you are authorised to bind the business you are registering, and that you are not a consumer purchasing for personal use.

02Your account

  • You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your users.
  • Keep credentials secure and tell us promptly at support@triam.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, import or connect.
  • Each subscription covers one business entity group unless your plan says otherwise.

03Plans, fees and taxes

Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. Charges consist of:

  • A recurring subscription fee, charged in advance for the coming period.
  • Usage charges in arrears, where your plan includes them — calculated on transaction value processed in the closed month, at the rate and cap stated for your plan, with overage beyond the cap at the published overage rate.
  • Additional users, optional services and data migration, where applicable, at the rates shown in the app.
  • AI credits purchased separately, as described in section 6.

Subscription and arrears charges are billed as two separate debits — you will see the coming period’s subscription and the closed month’s usage as distinct entries, not one combined amount.

All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of GST, which is added at the prevailing rate. Our GSTIN is 29AAMCT2435M1ZR. Tax invoices are issued to the billing details you provide; it is your responsibility to keep your GSTIN and legal name current, as we cannot reissue an invoice to correct details supplied incorrectly after the return period has closed.

04Payment, renewal and non-payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card details. Where you authorise a recurring mandate, you permit us to charge that instrument for amounts falling due under these terms, including usage charges in arrears.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from within the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and access continues until then.

If a payment fails we will attempt to collect again and notify you. If it remains unpaid after the grace period stated for your plan, we may suspend access. Suspension does not delete your data — see section 7.

05Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: a full refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription, unused AI credits refundable within 48 hours of purchase, and no pro-rata refund for a period already begun except where required by law or where we are at fault.

06AI features, and what they are not

The Service includes AI features (Trex) that read your data and can draft entries, extract information from documents and answer questions. These are powered in part by third-party model providers.

AI output is a draft, not professional advice. It is not accounting, tax, audit or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Models can extract a figure incorrectly, misread a document, or produce output that is confidently wrong. You remain solely responsible for reviewing anything the AI produces before relying on it, and for the correctness of your books, your statutory filings and any decision taken on the basis of the Service.

AI usage consumes credits. Credits are prepaid, priced as shown in the app, and are consumed when a request is made. Credits included with a plan expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over; credits you have purchased do not expire while your account is active. Credits carry no cash value and are not exchangeable for money except as set out in the Refund Policy.

07Your data

Your data remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the Service for you: to host, process, transmit, back up and display it, and to share it with the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

  • You can export your data at any time while your account is active.
  • After cancellation we retain your data for 90 days so you can export or reactivate, then delete it, except where law requires us to keep it longer.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data to train third-party AI models.

Indian law requires you to retain your own books of account for a statutory period. The Service is not your system of record for that purpose — maintaining your own exports and backups remains your responsibility.

08Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, or to record transactions you know to be false.
  • Attempt to access another customer’s data, or probe, scan or test our systems without written permission.
  • Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as a bureau service unless we have agreed in writing.
  • Circumvent usage limits, plan entitlements or credit metering.
  • Upload malware, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.

09Availability

We work to keep the Service available and take regular backups, but we do not commit to a specific uptime percentage unless we have signed a separate agreement with you that says so. We may take the Service down for planned maintenance, and will give notice where reasonably practicable.

10Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, for breach of section 8, or where required by law — with notice unless the situation makes notice impossible or unsafe. Where we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period.

11Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for loss or corruption of data to the extent it would have been prevented by your own backups. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, from data you put into it that infringes a third party’s rights, and from your breach of section 8.

13Changes

We may change these terms or our prices. For changes that materially disadvantage you we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in-app, and the change takes effect at your next renewal — you may cancel before then if you do not accept it. Changes required by law may take effect sooner.

14Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, please raise the matter with our Grievance Officer — see the grievance page — as most issues are resolved there.
